The new Burrow cafe made brighter with new mural by local Artist

A new original artwork created by local artist Katie Whyte has transformed the interior dining space of Burrow’s second location in Toowoomba. The new design, unique to Burrow, and features the artist’s distinct use of colour and abstract style, known for its imagination, curiosity and a sense of calm.

The goal was to create artwork that makes cafe patrons feel relaxed, welcome and also excited to be in Burrow’s new space. The inspiration of the mural came from sunrise on the Toowoomba Range. It features a vast sky, with layered elements fusing the skyscape and mountainscape. Harmonious colours were chosen to create a warm and inspiring atmosphere.

“I wanted the design to be playful but also totally iconic for Tee-bar.”

“Morning Glory” Burrow Cafe, 15 Railway Street, Toowoomba CBD, Queensland 4350

The murals' serene expression of colour and joyful shapes are inspired by when the sky meets the mountain range at sunrise, the exact time many are walking in the door for the first cup of coffee.

You can view the new mural during Burrow’s opening hours at their new location 15 Railway Street, Toowoomba CBD (between two other iconic locals; The Toowoomba Gallery and Betros Brothers).  I\Are you interested in changing the vibe of your workplace or home?
